TAMPA, FLA. -- The Republican National Convention begins Monday in Tampa and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said a key goal during the four days is to sell Mitt Romney's narrative to voters.
"We're going to tell the Mitt Romney story," Priebus said. "We're going to be on offense. We have so much to be proud of with Gov. Romney. I mean, the fact that he built something from nothing. He gave away his father's inheritance. He's a good dad, he's a good husband."
Meanwhile, a very busy week is ahead in Tampa for Republican Party officials as they get ready for the start of the huge gathering.
"This week what we're doing is we're debating the rules of the Republican National Committee. Setting the rules for the convention next week and then we're also putting together a platform."
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will give the convention's keynote address and Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio will introduce Romney that Thursday.
