The Rays swept the weekend series and are on a 6-game winning streak.
Desmond Jennings and Jeff Keppinger each homered in the game. Rays second baseman Ryan Roberts was 3-for-4 from the plate with a run and two RBI.
James Shields lasted seven innings in the no decision. Shields gave up three runs on five hits and recorded two strikeouts.
With the win, the Rays improve to 62-52. Tampa Bay is currently in second place in the American League East, five games back of the New York Yankees.

- The Miami Marlins were shut out at home Sunday, falling to the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0. Miami mustered only two hits in the loss. The Marlins are 11-19 since the All-Star break.
- Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson was released from a Miami Dade County Jail after posting $2,500 bond. Johnson, 34, was arrested Saturday night on domestic battery charges. He's accused of head-butting his newlywed wife outside of their south Florida home.
- The U.S.A. Men's basketball team defeated Spain 107-100 to win gold at the 2012 London Olympic Games. Miami's LeBron James finished with 19 points. Kevin Durant scored a team-high 30 points.
- The Jacksonville Jaguars released wide receiver Lee Evans on Sunday. Evans, an eight year veteran, signed with the Jaguars in April. He spent seven seasons with the Buffalo Bills and in 2011, played for the Baltimore Ravens.
