TAMPA, FLA. -- According to a report, Republicans will occupy the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa for the week of the upcoming GOP Convention.
The Republican National Convention is scheduled for August 27-30.
The Tampa Tribune is reporting that casino executives have confirmed that someone within the party organization has booked all 250 rooms at the hotel.
Citing guest privacy, Hard Rock officials declined to offer any specifics about the reservation, saying only that the massive reservation was made recently.
In May, the RNC Committee on Arrangements organized over 15,000 hotel rooms at more than 100 properties in the Tampa Bay area.
The Seminole Hard Rock was not included in that list.
