Aramis Ramirez hit a two-out, two-run homer off Bell in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift Milwaukee to the victory after the Brewers blew a 9-2 lead.
Jose Reyes had put the Marlins on top 11-10 with a solo homer in the top of the inning.
Ryan Braun socked his 23rd home run of the season to help Milwaukee build their seven-run lead. But John Buck and Scott Cousins smacked 2-run homers to highlight a six-run eighth as the Marlins fought back to tie the game 10-10.
The Marlins played without top slugger Giancarlo Stanton, who missed the game with a sore right knee.

- Sean Rodriguez broke out of a hitting slump, hitting a go-ahead two-run homer as the Tampa Bay Rays rallied for a second straight night to beat the New York Yankees 7-4. Rodriguez broke out of a 17 for 100 slump with three hits. The Rays have won nine straight over the Yankees at Tropicana Field.
- The Orlando Magic have signed first-round draft pick Andrew Nicholson. The 6-foot-9 forward from St. Bonaventure was the19th overall selection after being named Atlantic 10 conference player of the year last season.
- The Atlantic Coast Conference is remaining tied to the Orange Bowl. The league on Tuesday announced a 12-year agreement with the bowl beginning after the 2014 season and said details on the opponent and broadcast partner would come later. The ACC has sent its champion to the South Florida-based bowl every year since 2006.
- Palm Beach Garden's Serena Williams beat defending champion Petra Kvitova 6-3, 7-5 Tuesday to reach the Wimbledon semifinals for the eighth time in her career.
